He founded Maverick Consulting on a singular conviction: that the most impactful advisory comes from those who have led from within.
His portfolio spans 10+ pre-openings across luxury hotels, lifestyle resorts, and entertainment-led destinations — including the first Mondrian in Latin America the first SLS in Europe, Cuba's first internationally branded luxury hotel, and simultaneous dual-brand operations across Ibiza.

His expertise covers the full F&B lifecycle — from concept development and pre-opening through operational standards, revenue strategy, and team leadership. As Founder of his own F&B consultancy and current General Manager of a Marriott Autograph Collection property in Formentera, Javier brings both the strategic depth of a senior operator and the entrepreneurial mindset of a founder.

Julián has directed engineering and infrastructure projects for properties across Latin America and Europe — working with Starwood, Marriott, Hyatt, and Ennismore–Accor.
His experience spans the full technical lifecycle of a hotel — from construction oversight and commissioning through preventive maintenance, fire safety systems, and operational standards implementation. A trusted Maverick partner on pre-opening and PIP engagements, having conducted property inspections at SLS Playa Mujeres, Mondrian Mexico City, and Mondrian–Hyde Ibiza.
Rahul Mistry

Rahul Mistry is a hospitality IT consultant with over 20 years of experience advising Kempinski and other luxury hotel groups on technology strategy, infrastructure design, and pre-opening deployments across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Cuba, and Singapore. His portfolio includes pre-opening and technology leadership roles across three Kempinski hotels in Tanzania (Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar, and Serengeti), Djibouti Palace Kempinski, Kempinski Residences & Suites and Marsa Malaz Kempinski in Doha, and Kempinski Singapore — recognised with two CIO 100 Awards (2016, 2017).
